Welcome
2005 Danuta Cabernet Sauvignon
The 2005 Cabernet Sauvignon, Danuta, exhibits a dense purple color along with a big, sweet nose of blackberries, blueberries, and flowers (acacias and violets). This beauty is low in acidity, with an opulent, voluptuous texture as well as great fruit, purity, and density. It is a contender for two decades of cellaring.
The 2005 Danuta Cabernet fruit was estate grown at St. Helena Winery vineyards and hand harvested in October 2005. After fermentation, the wine was placed into all new French Oak barrels, and aged for about 23 months in St. Helena Winery’s cellars. In September 2007, the wine was bottled and stored for bottle aging.
This is a very limited edition wine, only 113 cases were produced. It is scheduled for release May 1, 2008.
